About Me

Hello! I am Manit. I graduated from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India, where I pursued B.E. in Electrical and Electronics.

Previously, I’ve had the privilege of working at a pretty huge corporation, an E-Commerce marketplace, an AI-Driven enterprise start-up, and an EV-based start-up.

Fast-forward to today, I'm working with Dr. Mohan Gurusamy and Dr. Dinil Mon Divakaran at NUS as a PhD student, where my research is in the domain of Network Security.

  • Developed the MEC-Hopper framework to enable efficient edge service provisioning using UAVs.
  • Designed a centralized Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) algorithm to select a subset of UAVs for service hosting.
  • Created a multi-hop latency-aware job distribution algorithm to ensure fair job distribution among UAVs.
